  • Country Financial Controller m/f - Gdynia (Poland)

    Ensure the conformity and accuracy of the financial statements

    We are looking for a Candidate for a newly created position of Country Financial Controller based in our office in Gdynia.

    As the Financial Controller you will be tasked with setting the finance and controlling organization in Poland and liaising with the corporate French organization.
    Furthermore, you will be involved with various finance improvements projects and ensure correct processing in the financial reporting.

    From a country management perspective, you will be involved with multiple post-acquisition integrations as well as greenfield initiatives.
    As a Country Financial Controller, you will:

    • Drive monthly closing process to enable timely monthly group reporting, including country results, journals, checks & balances verifying accuracy of financials, following up with regions on any issues and inconsistencies,
    • Drive industrial controlling (cost and revenues) and support management with decision making process.
    • Analyze profitability by line of business and profitability optimization,
    • Ensure monthly inventory accuracy and valuation,
    • Prepare the annual Financial Statements of each of the entities in Poland and coordinating the process with auditors,
    • Ensure the application of the Group Accounting Policies,
      Prepare Accounting Papers for reporting issues,
    • Manage change in the reporting process to improve quality and harmonizing the reporting of the country to become globally standardized,
      Coordinate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process of the country,
    • Prepare of ad-hoc analysis as required,
    • Manage given projects in the area of finance and accounting. Have an active role in development and maintenance of
      the current and future implementation of new systems,

    International travel (France) might be involved.


    Our requirements:


    The position demands a self-starting personality that fits into an environment that is characterized by entrepreneurship.
    You will have the conceptual capacity to develop an accounting structure suitable for a developing and expanding an international manufacturing company.
    At Aloxe you will work independently to fulfil this position. Strong communicative and interpersonal skills are necessary to be successful.


    The ideal candidate has a completed university education and a minimum 3-year experience within an industrial environment and the right drive and ambition to make the difference.

    • Knowledge in Accounting, Consolidation, IFRS and policies, including PPA versus local financials is a plus,
    • Recognized professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) would be a strong advantage,
    • Ability to work independently and with colleagues in different areas of the business as well as part of finance team and
      with auditors,
    • Perfect command of English (speaking & writing), Additional language(s) are not required but a plus (French),
    • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point,
      Strong business acumen and commercial attitude,
    • Strong communication skills, result-oriented, solution-oriented, and able to bring about changes,
    • Reliable, proactive and a self-starter.

    MISSIONS BUSINESS ANALYST - IT :

    Contribute to the development of the circular economy!

    Since 2022, Aloxe has launched its IT roadmap, the core application of which is Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. Reporting to the IT Director of the Corporate entity, our future Application Business Analyst will bear responsibility for all business applications, through the following missions: 

    Analysis, design and implementation

    • Analyze and model functional and technical specifications.
    • Adapt business application parameters (ERP, production applications, etc.).
    • Design and implement data analysis cubes by process.
    • Deploy dashboards and reporting solutions.
    • Write application documentation. 

    Application qualification and testing

    • Develop test cases for integration testing of deployed applications/modules.
    • Carry out functional and technical integration tests.
    • Identify and deal with application malfunctions in operation or during integration.
    • Perform non-regression tests following application version upgrades.

    Business application maintenance

    • Carry out corrective and evolutionary maintenance using the editor's tools and resources.
    • Take charge of evolutions (batch corrective, preventive or new requirement) of business applications.
    • Manage the anomaly lifecycle: Detect, Qualify, Correct, Test, Deploy, Inform & Support.
    • Track product evolution and interventions in a knowledge base. 

    Support

    • Support users in the operation of business applications.
    • Produce training kits tailored to users' profiles and functions.
    • Train new users.

    Project management

    • Actively participate in application projects.
    • Manage evolutions according to project management phases.
    • Manage customer relations in support of the Project Manager.

    SKILLS REQUIRED : 

    Technical skills : 

    • Mastery of Microsoft D365 F&O ERP.
    • Knowledge of SQL language and DBMS (SQL Server).
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Cloud.
    • Modeling and design of IS requirements.
    • Project management.

     Functional and behavioral skills :

     YOUR MISSIONS :

     Reporting to the central technical team and working within a matrix organisation, our future Food Standards and Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our products and operations comply with the most demanding standards (food safety, environmental, traceability), through the following tasks:

     1/ Managing the hygiene and food safety certification project for our 3 current production sites in France, Poland and Italy

    -          Identify the reference methods (such as HACCP) and certification standards (FSCC 20222, BRC, GFSI, etc.) that are most relevant to our business, and draw up project plans (resources, timetable, success factors, costs) to ensure that all our plants are certified and/or recognised for their food safety manufacturing practices.

    -          Build the tools, procedures, methods, training and workshops needed to get key users on board and complete the various stages leading to certification

    -          Continuous monitoring of the action plan and internal audits to maintain and improve our industrial practices (storage, manufacturing, quality control, safety)

    -          Develop a food safety culture in the various operational departments

     2/ Enforcing and anticipating reference regulations in the business and environment areas:

    -          Identify the standards and certifications that enhance Aloxe's practices. In conjunction with our plants, strengthen our management systems and lead certification or renewal programmes (such as ISO 9001, 14001, Recyclass).

    -          Business regulatory watch (in particular Reg 2022/1616; PPWR) to measure the impact on our business and define the investments and methods to be implemented in our plants. Participation in professional bodies

    -          Internal audits to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards/certifications

    -          Supplier audits to ensure compliance with Aloxe or regulatory requirements
